Having left Tromso, we continued heading north and got as far as Nordnesoden. Camping on the edge of the fjord

After 10 days of excessively low temperatures, down to minus 18 degrees, we have had to turn around and head out of the Arctic circle.

We awoke in the morning to find bottles of water frozen in the kitchen, even the de-icer had frozen, we haven't had the luxury of running water for over a week, due to the tank freezing. The final straw was when the gas in the underslung tank became too cold to work. Therefore leaving us just the microwave to cook and boil water. Despite Steve's best efforts lying under the camper with the hairdryer in sub zero temperatures, he failed to thaw us out. Ok
He did however manage to unfreeze on the toilet cassette door.

We headed off to Finland, after an hour of driving on dead straight roads, 80 km speed limits and the only scenery was trees, we turned right and arrived in Sweden.

We spent the night behind a garage where they sold hot food and coffee. Unfortunately the down side of being parked in a garage, is at 5AM the snow plough comes to clear the garage forecourt.
Today we continued driving through Sweden and are now camped in a very nice camp site with showers, electric hookup and WiFi laundry and kitchen.

The camper has thawed out and we now have working gas, toilet and occasional running water.
Today we had a heat wave, 22 degrees warmer than yesterday, don't get too excited it only got to plus 4. Now back to zero.
