
Norway day 6

The day started as we thought it would, had to dig the camper out of the snow. Luckily a kind young man came to our assistance, and we were free.


Thought we'd be clever and put the snow chains on for the first time, did it eventually, but was actually better without them.
Managed to enjoy the scenery and stop for lunch even though the weather was deteriating rapidly.

Eventually the snow did its worst and we were stuck on the E6 in a queue of traffic, whilst two snow ploughs cleared a very long stretch of road, 2 hours delay.
We followed the line of cars and lorries to our resting place for tonite, a lorry park.
Good chance of seeing Northern lights tonite, but I think snow has other ideas.

On a plus note, we are now officially in the Arctic circle.
